The Big Fish

One of my favourite sculptures, certainly in Belfast.

Belfast is not renowned as a fishing port but placed above the confluence of the rivers Farset (after which Belfast gets its name) and Lagan, it is a wonderful symbol of the regeneration of this part of the city. Each of the ceramic tiles includes imagery of documents relating to the history of the city and inside is a time-capsule containing contemporary poetry and other atrefacts.

All in all, quite an Arty-Fact wouldn't you say :)

One of most irritating things about the Moto-X and indeed any camera that only has a large display to frame your picture, when the sun is high and bright its nigh impossible to see anything to make any sensible decision on composition. Viewfinders are highly under valued!
