Looking North

27.2C with long sunny spells mixed with haar rolling in from the sea. Light breeze. Met Ofice data from Leuchars shows 22C so once again I am not sure of the local weather station's temperature high.

Maeve and I went for our walk before lunch. I took this shot looking North from a shady spot under a big tree just past the church. The crops are beginning to ripen and turn golden under this week's sunshine.

We walked down the field with the bridle path and today the potatoes were being watered again. I assume yesterday's chemical spray wouldn't be washed off or they might have sprayed a different part of the field to where it was being watered today.

As we walked towards the shore the haar rolled in from the sea and right up the fields towards the church. We could still see the railway line from the cycle path but we couldn't see the sea. Further along the path we could just see through the fishermen's huts to see Silver Cat tying up at its mooring.
