Staffordshire Beacon

It's been another lovely hot summers day and we decided to have a picnic tea at one of my favourite places the Mermaid Pool ( photographed in April ) It's not very often that you can sit up on top of the moors in an evening with a temperature of 22 degrees !!

As I have taken the sunset from the mermaid pool a few time I went looking for a different view point and spotted the silhouette of the beacon with the Roaches as a back drop.
