Oscar memorial rose

Stepdaughter visiting today so we took the opportunity to scatter the ashes of Oscar, our faithful cat for around 15 years. He will now be a slow-release fertiliser for this glorious rose at the front of our house. I intend to find an interesting stone for a memorial and have it engraved. As yet Oscar has no successor.
