Green’s

Today, once again our steel workers did not turn up, despite having promised earlier this week that they would recommence work today; Friday. Victoria arrived to give Mrs GOG a hand with gardening etc.. However, as we had not been able to get out earlier in the week and we needed to visit Cambridge, while Victoria really wanted to watch one of the judo team in the Commonwealth Games, with whom she had trained, we decided to stop work very early so that both of these things could be done. In consequence we were in Cambridge at lunch time and having completed our errands, we visited The Green Coffee Company Café, attached to the tourist information office, for a bite to eat and a drink of coffee. Today’s picture is of The Tourist Information entrance with many bicycles in the foreground.

Having completed our errands in the town we returned home via Scotsdales for more coffee and cake, arriving home in a torrential downpour; our timing was nearly perfect.
