Shanghai Textile and Costume Museum

Interesting museum on the site of an old factory. Our visit included us making our own tie-died hanky which everyone enjoyed! An eye-opening tour of how the world of fabric has changed from natural fabrics to the mixed fibers of today. Amazing to see where fabrics produced in China have been used, from spacesuits to tents as well as more traditional uses like clothing.
