Ted and the House Martin's!

Well, the house martin's are back! They have been flying around for the last week and have revisited their nest in the eves of our garage. They didn't come last year.
Those little birds fly all the way from Africa. They come over the Mediterranean and Sahara to get to Britain to our house.

Today has been very hot again and my son Neil, grandsons Tristan and Matthew and Neil's girlfriend Cathryn came for lunch. They didn't stay long as they are picking up the canal boat later this afternoon at Reedley Marina which is near Burnley. I am meeting them at 9-00 a.m. in the morning and spending the day with them. They are going to be on the Leeds - Liverpool canal heading into Yorkshire for a weeks holiday.

Ted and me are really happy that the house martins have returned to their nest.
