Feeding on lavender

This little chap Bombus pascuorum perhaps, was one of many bees feeding on the lavender flowers in the garden. They do move around quickly from flower to flower, it kept me busy. This I assume is because the lavender flowers are fairly small an only a few have started to bloom so far.

Another gloriously hot day and the work in the loft is complete.
