Snowdon Summit

This was 5 days after the Snowdon Mountain Race which was shortened on Saturday due to hazardous conditions. It was the first time in 39 years that the race wasn't run to the top. Nevertheless it proved to be a pretty intense run as usual.
We couldn't go home without a visit to the top and three of us were lucky enough to do it in virtually cloudless conditions. It might be one of the busiest mountains in the UK, but it still offers a breathtaking and thoroughly vitalising experience; especially when you have a little more time to enjoy it.
