The amazing Ashton Memorial in Lancaster...

Anyone driving up or down the M6 in North Lancashire will see the dome of the crazy building at the highest point of Williamson Park.

I love this place ... not just because it is where we had our wedding 'breakfast' but because the views from here are spectacular ... and every summer we are completely spoilt with a promenade production from the very talented Dukes Theatre. Been tonight with 'the squash gang' ... and/but want to take Katy and Mr B for a return trip. Great fun ... get yourself there on or before 16 August ... and take a pidnic too!
