Every second counts

We've had a busy day, ending in the most beautiful rose-gold sunset over London which lit up the top of the Shard like a candle. Jamie drove like a madman to get me to this part of town so I could get a blip of the Shard in all its evening glory. Well, I missed the sunset here, but this particular view of these particular buildings means a lot to Jamie and me and has to be my Blip for today at very nearly midnight.

One of my top over-used phrases of the year has been 'we've got to make the most of every moment'. On days like these, we can say, 'we did'.
