Painting the town red
Sorry about that title, but Charlie the decorator was in Princes Street gardens today giving the shelters a makeover in readiness for some Festival art project. While we were chatting, I spotted Natalie walking her dog, and asked if she would mind stepping into the shelter too. I made sure she avoided getting any wet paint on that nice black frock.
Unfortunately for Charlie, Natalie just pipped him at the post for the most glamorous shot. It was the dog that swung it – all Charlie could offer instead was a paint roller. His photo is here.
Pensioner was also lurking in the gardens, but I managed to avoid him by breaking into Finnish when he approached.
