Farm day

We had a wonderful day out to a local farm today. It's an LA farm so is catered to the public. You can go and pick your own - we got strawberries, raspberries, beets, red carrots, oranges, limes and this sunflower head! We will eat most of the food over the next few days but will dry the sunflower and see if we can get some seeds to plant our own again. This was a 7ft high sunflower so maybe that will help our own grow tall!
My daughter was dressed for the farm and so thoroughly enjoyed herself jumping in the muddy puddles especially this one which she also "fell" into several times for added muddy fun!
