So pleased with this photo
It's not perfect by any means, even 8fps on the camera could not keep up with this family as they were moving pretty rapidly, but the mother was smiling at the camera a split second before this was taken and she moved her view (understandably) to the road again.
I had spent a day watching the traffic pass and I really was short of a blip. 4 Ferrari 458s passed by, meh, thousands of other vehicles, meh. And just at the end of the afternoon and this family went by.
They were happy to see the camera (wish all cyclists were), they were moving at some considerable speed for downhill cyclists (to give you some idea a guy in his 30s got the bus down as "it's too dangerous for me to cycle down - I have 3 kids"), and the little girl on the bike behind was peddling as fast as she possibly could, not that she had to - as she was attached to Mum's bike and Mum wasn't hanging around, and the little girl was laughing all the way down the pass.
Dad had a trailer on the back of his bike with an infant in tow.
