Hot Hot Hot

I wanted to take a photo that captured the intensity of the heat in Edinburgh yesterday.
The Royal Mile was feeling at its most exotic in the summer sunshine, with the summer visitors, performers arriving for The Festival and the vibrant blue sky. These sun hats which were on sale rather than the usual woolly hats seemed to sum up our summer so far.
