Marshmallow Milky Way

Whew - all the stress and worry about whether things will work, whether enough has been planned, whether the students will enjoy it, whether it will rain, whether.........you get the picture. Pleased to say that everything was fine :) Students were a little slow in coming forward to begin with as they didn't really know the other class so well, but by lunchtime they were mixing and mingling well, getting very much into the range of challenges and activities we had planned for them and generally being pretty darned awesome!

Some year 11 students came out in the early evening to set up and run an activity they had planned. Wow! Such leadership, creativity and maturity - it was a real pleasure to work with them. Their final activity was toasting marshmallows under the stars. Too good a blip-op to miss!

Already I have some fresh ideas evolving for next year's camp....... :)
