Trek

Thursday was "Pioneer Day", the day that we celebrate our heritage and ancestry. Every 4 years we have a week long activity for our young men & women (ages 14 -18) where they get to re-enact crossing the plains. It gets them away from their electronics etc for a while and they learn to pull together as it is no picnic for sure! This is me and a few of the leaders resting after dinner one night. (about 6/7 years ago)

Today we will have an activity at the church with a dinner and games outside. Some people will dress the part of pioneers and others come as they are. Me, I'll be coming as is. Those pioneer clothes are HOT!
