Operation Bleuets

Operation Cornflower on the Chemin Des Dames. 30 km of this historic roadside is blooming with cornflowers that symbolise Remembrance of Soldiers that fought in the Great War.
We passed along part of this road on our return from Laon where we visited the remarkable Cathedral and toured the medieval town be road train. The bumpiest ride ever!
We back blipped yesterday's journal and this one is being rushed as we are off to the Creperie for a meal tonight
