Mixed emotions

We were given a load of very ripe and juicy gooseberries which we needed to use pretty quickly so our thoughts immediately turned to vodka, rather than jam as C brought us back some she made during her holiday in Ireland.

Sam is a bit torn here as we used his frozen Zubrovka (his fav) but he doesn't actually like gooseberries! Hopefully it tastes ok when it comes to drinking time - apparently we need to wait 6 months ... Better hide it well, then!
