Random Reunions

Petanque night tonight.

We won 3-1 tonight, it should been 4-0. We should have won 4-0. In our second game we were 10-5 up, and got 11-8, we had one bad end and dropped a 5 to lose in dramatic fashion!

The rest of the evening was taken up with random meet ups with people I haven't seen in years.

First it was Neil Wiggins whom I probably haven't seen in 20 years. Then it was Rachel's son Luke who turned up unannounced to surprise his mum. Then these radiant ladies turned up. From left to right, Kate, Rachel (different one to the one I just mentioned) and Gabby. Kate we used to see regularly at The Dyn as she worked there. Gabby I haven't seen for years and Rachel has moved to Australia but was back as a surprise for her sister who had turned 21.

It was great chatting to old friends and was a cracking evening!
