... in nearby East Lothian in the sunshine. We enjoyed a picnic lunch on the summit of North Berwick Law with a view of the Red Arrows performing their tricks over East Fortune. (It was a joy to see JS's old energy returning as he nimbly scaled this steep- sided volcanic plug). Recovery took the form of a nap on Yellowcraig sands, making the most of the sunshine before showers chased us home.
