Hot Saturday in Worthing

Mum and I went to Worthing today and it certainly wasn't as cool as it can often be when it was hot. There was little or no relief from the heat except on the pier as the weak sea breeze over the water did produce a cooling effect.

The local Lions had put on an event that ran all along the Promenade and there was a Fun Fair that has been there for a while. There was a very real holiday atmostphere here. The sea looked particularly inviting but it seemed to be high tide when I was there.
