Danebury Ring

It was too hot to do much today. But we did get a picnic and went up to Danebury Ring hillfort. There was some hazy cloud for a while and we sat among the wildflowers on the side of the fort to eat our lunch looking at the view. We had a short walk around the ring then headed back down the hill - the countryside round here is all coloured in shades of beige, brown and gold at the moment, hardly any green as you look towards the horizon.
