Roses of the Night

The hot weather continues. The problem is that it is very tempting just to think it is too hot to do anything, but as the days go by, this can get frustrating!
A very enjoyable village Cafe this morning, with some purchases made at the new Plant Stall. In fact, I came home with a basket of eggs, cakes, plants, lettuces, and a lovely bunch of sweet peas!
During the afternoon I retreated inside and made three new cushions for the sitting room - so at least something was achieved!
The garden was beautifully cool as dusk took hold, and these little roses were gleaming in the darkness.
