Fishes in the Water of Leith

Friday sunny lunchtime, and a quick walk down to the Water of Leith. I noticed the fish on Wednesday, but I blipped something different. Today I spotted them in two places. The first above the upper Dean Bridge weir, nibbling at river weeds.

This photo is of the second lot were found just by the footbridge. These were dashing up to the surface to catch any insect unlucky enough to land on the water surface.
