Race Day

A day at the races in York. Confirmation if it were needed, that there's "nowt so weird as folk!"
Not exactly life changing in the winnings - in fact, it would appear that our horses were as the one in the blip for all the good they did us. One, losing by a nostril at a photo finish. But a fascinating day for people watching and the nags do cut an imposing picture as they thunder past.
Oh and I'm getting braver about asking people if I can take their photo, tho' if you turn up at the races looking like this, I guess you're not the shy retiring kind!

A blistering hot day - there'll be some very sore people tomorrow (heads too).
