New lampshade

I did an eight mile walk today, taking in the Tissington Trail. Hot but really beautiful.

As a reward, I bought this gorgeous lampshade from my favourite gift shop in Ashbourne. I thought it would brighten up a otherwise colourless bedroom. On arriving home, I cheerfully grabbed the 'communal' ladder, only to find the old lampshade has been GLUED in place. Humph.

Otherwise, a very happy day.
