sculpture at Chartres

This is the last of my photos from holiday which I've had to back blip (maybe we will have to get wifi after all !) We stopped off briefly at Chartres on the way back to the ferry , aiming to take some photos of the cathedral from a distance as we didn't have much time. We spotted however a lovely sculpture exhibition in the gardens outside
collegiale St Andre close by. The sculptures were mainly children and mothers and were by Fanny Ferre. I wish we'd had more time but we always seem to end up rushing through France and ending up at the port with minutes to spare (just 3 mins on this occasion!)
