icy lake

today begins a 3 day visit at a friends. on my drive i stopped at a state park and walked my dog. i had such a good day because it was the first day in a long time that i did not HAVE to get up, HAVE to be any where at a certain time. i found i had been missing that freedom. gracie and i walked around this frozen lake and i was fascinated by the noise the ice made as it rubbed against itself.
