"Keep those heads up girls. We're the queens."

Always good to see royalty on the lake. Dad came over first. We couldn't decide whether he was trying to protect the youngens, or begging for treats. Mom then came over with the kids. The kids were squeaking...then Mom started hissing. We backed Merrick away from the edge, just in case she attacked.

We also spent 4 hours at a surprise birthday party for our neighbor. 40 years old. Ohhhh to be 40 again. (Sigh.) Merrick spent the whole 4 hours jumping in the bounce house.
