a sign of being a nature photography fanatic

Canada Geese and ducks are very plentiful at nearby ponds and lakes and are typically among the easier creatures for me to photograph (i.e. except when they fly : ) On the other hand small birds move so very quickly and have therefore been quite difficult for me to capture.

In order to shoot this photo I had to lean forward then twist my torso to one side and then look up - I think this qualifies as being a nature photography fanatic!

Oh, and today on my walk around one of the ponds an older gentleman asked me if I was a birder to which I responded that I am becoming one : )
