Birthday

Elsa came today. She's my French pen pal and also close friend of my friend Surayya who moved to France when she was 7. She's staying for a week before we go to Rora (a church conference we go to every summer, in Devon).

We didn't do much in the morning but in the afternoon we went into town and met up with Grace, Anna P and Sarah. Did some shopping. Anna & Sarah left earlier but we stayed and bought some helium balloons (it was Anna's birthday today) and went to the John Lewis' cafe.

Came home, had tea and went to church to play unihoc. Only, I didn't play because I was feeling too tired. Anna C, Grace and I sat in the kitchen and decorated Anna P's birthday cake and talked lots... mainly about Borneo. It's been weird not being with them for a few days after spending a whole month together!

We gave Anna her cake and balloons, I think she liked them. :)
