Vernal and Nevada Falls

Our first day of hiking after a night under (bear proof) canvas. We hiked the mist trail to see these waterfalls. The mist was so refreshing in the heat of the morning sun. At the top we had incredible views of the granite heights of Yosemite and spent two hours relaxing there before our descent. In the evening we took the mustang out and parked up in a prime position to enjoy the sunset and watch the deer running around the meadows.
