Adriatic Shells

I went to Italy this summer, and found these shells and brought them back with a bag of sand. Our hotel was in downtown Jesolo, Italy, and the shells are from a beach on the Adriatic Sea.

I'm still looking for more interesting subjects, but until I have something real to photograph, I'll just play around with some of the stuff in my room. I just liked that the shell caught the stream of light pouring through my blinds :)
