Downtown LA, Hollywood and Beverley Hills.

We spent the night in Maria's Italian retreat in the hills. She has a great view of LA and the place feels positively serene. We then ate breakfast at the IHOP (International House of Pancakes). I finished half an felt... sick. Supersize got me again.

Tom had read about the Disney Philharmonic Opera Hall and we had a self guided audio tour of the magnificent structure, we were both impressed. In Hollywood we decided The Sign is actually tiny but the Ghirardelli chocolate Sunday on the walk of fame more than made up for that!

Dinner wasjust so good.. The restaurant was well considered, we had done our reading to find the best BBQ frill in town. And it was, well it must have been because Bone House grill was incredible! I had tri-tip steak, Tom had brisket. The finale of the day was watching The Transformers in The Arclight cinema with real butter popped popcorn.
