Las Vegas

And so to our final destination, Las Vegas. Again, we couldn't help but stop at a shopping outlet. At the start of the holiday we though we found good deals in SF. No way, this was where the bargains were, Hollister for $5-10, Levis for me-$10! Luggage and wardrobe space was the necessary limiting factor now.

5 hours on from LA we arrived in Las Vegas. It was 116F, it was big, brightly coloured and just like nothing you have ever seen. Our room was the size of our apartment and much posher! We discovered that as you walk down the strip things appear deceptively close. This picture is inside the Venetian. You could easily be fooled into thinking you are intact outdoors. This is intentional. The Hotels are all like huge shopping mall/entertainment complexes. The aim is to forget time and spend, spend, spend!

Dinner was divine. A buffet with everything you could ever want, cooked perfectly. Afterwards we saw the magnificent Mystere. A Cirque du Soleil show that left us mind-blown.
