Swan Sunday

when I arrived at the reservoir the swans were no where to be seen

thanks to Kassidy's nosiness I know where the nest site is

so it was a "tense walk" as I hoped to get there before they took to the open water again

hooray I was lucky... if climbing through nettles and brambles with bare legs is lucky rather than stupid

the reeds and rushes have grown in the last month so the vantage point is less good

but I got the blip I wanted - mum dad and all 7 cygnets
