Narrow Neck Beach

This is Narrow Neck Beach with Rangitoto in the distance.

Where has the day gone? After the usual- breakfast, putting on the washing, checking emails, etc, we went off to the beach

The water was quite cold so we didn't stay in long but the kids built sandcastles and we had some lunch and the obligatory ice cream. We played tag in the park, I seemed to be 'on' alot!

This is why I LOVE this country so much. Just down the road from where I live there are the most amazing beaches. My children will always see this as the norm, not quite the same as growing up in Manchester!

This afternoon was spent baking again, for bookclub.

Had a nice time catching up with friends and always a laugh to be had (usually as someone's expense!)
