Going above and beyond

Visiting a friend in Burnham on Crouch in Essex and we went to the Oyster Smack Inn. Very impressed by the service.

I asked if they had gluten free bread (not expecting them to, but thought I might as well ask) and they said no, but they could go and buy some. A few minutes later the waitress came to take our order and I said that I'd like the antipasti board as the manager had said you could do gluten free bread. She said yes, someone had already gone to buy some. So they went to get it before I'd confirmed that that was what I wanted.

Now THAT is customer service. I've written a nice review on trip advisor.
