We went to Arisaig for a look around, and to check the time for the wildlife boat cruise we'd booked. It turned out to be quite sunny, so we continued along the coast a bit to a lovely beach. Totally unprepared, with no towels or swimmers, only the buckets and spades we'd hastily bought at the Spar. But it didn't matter. All the kids love the beach, and this one was perfect, with lots of rock pools and inlets full of little flatfish to catch. We were there for hours. Lovely.
