Afterglow

Aanother busy day. The summerhouse is painted and looking good. All that remains is to spruce up the interior and I can begin to enjoy it. I managed to finish painting just as the heavens opened with the loudest clap of thunder imaginable.

Fortunately, the rain quickly passed and at sunset there was an amazing afterglow over the rooftops. I reached for the camera as darkness approached and managed to catch the last of the light brightening the pale flowers of the hydrangea bush.
