Golden

We spent a lovely morning and early afternoon celebrating this couple's golden wedding anniversary. I've known them for most of my life through my childhood church. The church was packed with their family and friends, all organised by their two sons, without their knowledge. I'm not big on Church with a capital C but the sense of community, as evidenced today, is important to me and so I continue to pop in every now and then.

A quiet afternoon spent watching the Grand Prix (well don Lewis!) and commonwealth sport. Loved the little Scottish girl in the swimming, she looked overjoyed with her bronze. A week of the holidays gone already though :(
