Cambridge

It was a wonderful day to be a tourist in sunny Cambridge, and I had fabulous company. We were happy to walk among the beautiful buildings by the River Cam, soaking up the sunshine and watching the punters trying not to fall in.

I think this is Christ's College (thank you, jcdodds, for the college ID), the part of Cambridge University that Darwin attended.
