AA to the rescue!

A story with flashbacks, CSI style:

08.00 Tried to start car to go to work, battery was flat

**flashback - 5pm yesterday (Thursday)
Collected car from Toyota garage after its annual service and MOT, they couldn't check the brake pads (which are squeaking) because the locking wheelnut key was missing from its little box.**

08.30 Rang Toyota garage, they didn't do anything to the battery, just looked at it. Rang AA and asked for help (I have at-home cover)

**flashback - some time in 2009, I had 2 tyres replaced, locking wheelnut gadget must have gone missing then, probably on a garage floor somewhere.**

09.30 AA man arrived, battery needed jump starting. Then he noticed interior light was on.

**flashback - 6pm yesterday DOH! I put that on when I was searching for the wheelnut gadnet last night - and didn't turn it off. That's why the battery was flat.**

10.00 AA man finished, agreed to pose for a blip and I set off on a drive round and back round the Edinburgh City Bypass to charge the battery up again.

11.00 Got into work at last.

Also - for anyone who's managed to read all this drivel - I backblipped my morning walk yesterday

PS Just noticed my 'year ago' blip and my aim to do the tax form earlier to avoid the 31st January panic. Ha ha!! It's in front of me now (Sat 30th).
