Water

I took a photo from this spot before but showing the viaduct in the background. This is the new canal in Stroud, replacing a missing link that was covered over back in the 70's. The area above the wall to the right was a rubbish dump, the rubbish is still underneath and covers the site of the original canal.

The work took over a year to complete, including major earthworks and building this massive retaining wall.
