Sparkling in the Sunshine

As it was very slightly cooler we decided to go for a stroll but we chose the woods as it was still full on sunshine. I spotted this male Brown Hawker Dragonfly soaking up the rays on the outskirts of the wood. I could see him glistening from a long way off and unfortunately the photo doesn't show the full beautiful iridescence that I saw but I was still pleased to snap him :-)
