A day on dartmoor

It was much cooler today so we all ventured out on to Dartmoor for a picnic and walk. We parked at the bottom of Cox Tor and walked down to the stream by the cross. The boys were excited to see the dartmoor ponies and even more excited to play in a stream.

It's been lovely catching up with Christine and her family. We were reminiscing this eve about when we first met in freshers week at Bangor University all those years ago. I think that was 27 years ago.

So ends the visits to some of my dearest uni friends otherwise known as "the city view girlies" and on to another dear friend from more recent times. Tomorrow we head to Sussex for a spot of camping with her and her girls.
