Mist over the Meadow

Travelling back from a lovely meal in the Kippen Inn this evening about 8.30, I spotted layers of mist in the surrounding fields. I reckon this must be something to do with the heat wave followed by the cooler wet spell yesterday and today. It turned into a surprisingly beautiful clear evening after a pretty wet afternoon. The misty conditions were so unusual for July that I have uploaded for today's blip although I had in the camera a good shot of Kippen Church and the ripening grain in the low evening sun. However, this scene with the cattle and the layer of mist in the nearby trees is a rarer sight.
