Big Beetle

Today was the perfect Sunday.

We hit the pool quite early and Sarah came over and joined us for a dip too. Aura has now discovered jumping off the edge and into my arms. Brilliant for her but terrifying for me. The joy in her face though as she does it is just the best thing in the world.

I managed to have an uninterrupted alfresco lunch with Sarah in the garden whilst Aura napped later on, which was lovely and so good to catch up just girls. Followed by sunbathing and watching Aura go mental in the paddling pool for the rest of the afternoon.

The only downer of the day was when a huge beetle the size of my hand (no joke) fell from the ceiling whilst we were having dinner later that evening. I was so terrified I had to get the concierge to come and remove it. I really must get over this fear of creatures although to be fair the size that this one was, was granted.
