Canoe Trip

Wanted to go canoeing but hadn't booked so went to pool.
Back for 1230 canoe trip, given life jackets, form to sign then packed into minibus. Dropped off and given canoe and paddle, pushed into river with a shout of Bon Journee! Bricking it about taking Nelly but was actually magic.
Had picnic lunch and chill at campsite then braved LeClerk for supplies. Was going to Sarlat for tea out but parking nightmare so headed back to Monfort for bizarre experience at La Pont du Vue, a wee restaurant where menu enfants was ham and chips and Nelly discovered a taste for Coca Cola.
I love this photo, Montfort is in the background and was a welcome sight after our 10k paddle down the beautiful Dordogne.
